Volta a Catalunya, E. Gesbert: "it will be a big test"
The Arkéa-Samsic team will start the Tour of Catalonia this Monday with a team that combines youth and experience.
“I have just finished a two-week altitude training camp in Tenerife to prepare for the upcoming events and this Tour of Catalonia is one of them. It will be a real test for me on such a high level race to be the protected rider to play the general classification. I have the advantage of knowing the race because I have competed in it several times. I’m going there to give it my all. I like some of the stages. We’ll have to seize the opportunities if they arise.”
“The Tour of Catalonia is a very difficult stage race where we have a general classification objective with Elie. We can count on Hugo to aim for the stages promised to the sprinters on paper.
