“This stage was similar to last year’s, a little less hard even though there was one more bump. It was short and intense. The rain in the final changed its course. My regret is that I didn’t follow the four riders who went over the pass, because in the end Herrada and I were the only ones to organise the chase behind them. After that, we had to be careful on the descent because it was a real ice rink”.
