“We’ve just completed our tenth consecutive Tour. Since the start in Bilbao, this Tour de France has been particularly intense on every stage. Thanks to its difficult profile and an incredible public, this July event will go down in history. We had set ourselves the target of winning a stage, and even if we didn’t achieve that, I’d like to highlight the solidarity of our squad. Anthony and Laurent, who was awarded the prize for being the most combative rider on stage 3, fulfilled their role as road captains. Warren, who had just come off the Giro, saw his condition improve as the days went by. On the Markstein stage, he was on a par with the best, with the temperament we know him for. I’m not forgetting Simon, who had the rare privilege of opening the road for the Tour of his home region, or Luca, who was able to mix it with the best sprinters in the world. The season is still long and there are still some great things ahead of us. I now wish the best for the Tour Femmes to the riders from the Arkéa Pro Cycling Team who took over today in Clermont-Ferrand”.
