Étoile de Bessèges : Kevin Vauquelin 4th in stage and overall
Fourth in the last stage of the Étoile de Bessèges, a 10.66 kilometer time trial in Alès, Kevin Vauquelin finished in the same place overall.

“I did a good time trial today. I know where I can win seconds, I saw the small details to improve for the weeks to come. This Etoile de Bessèges was my return to racing and I can be satisfied with the way I feel. Collectively, we have seen very good things during the five stages, the guys have done a great job and I really thank them for that. Now it’s time for a little rest before the Tour du Var and Alpes-Maritîmes on roads I know very well and a very hilly course. I can’t wait to get there.”
“Kevin confirmed his ability in the time trial with a good fourth place today and overall. We are only at the beginning of the season, there are some details to work on but we are on the way. Even if we don’t win the general classification, Kevin showed that he was already at the level of the best for his first race. And the team was there.”
