“I’m very happy with my race. It’s encouraging to get a podium today. I was on a roll at the top of the last climb and it was impossible to keep up with Finn Fisher-Black, so this podium is a reward for all our hard work. It’s my first podium since October 2022 and of course it gives me confidence for the future, the form is there. The Tour of Oman starts tomorrow with a big field of sprinters. I hope to be able to express myself again, even if I prefer more difficult approaches like today”.

Mickaël Leveau, sports director

“It’s a good result for Amaury and for the whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team today. At the briefing, we decided to go all out for him. We saw last year with Jenthe Biermans that the sprinters could get through. His team-mates surrounded Amaury well in the final climb. At the front, we came up against Finn Fisher-Black who was very strong, coming out alone at the top. Amaury finished 2nd in the bunch sprint and beyond that, this Muscat Classic showed that the team is in good shape for the Tour of Oman which starts tomorrow”.
