Tour of Wallonie (Time Trial) - Thibault Guernalec 9th
Thibault Guernalec took 9th place in the 4th stage of the Tour of Wallonia. It was a 32.7-kilometre time trial between Mons and Mons. Tonight he is sixth in the provisional overall classification.

“It was a good, clean time trial, even if it wasn’t exceptional given my state of form. I’ve actually been better in this exercise this season, but I really got involved with the overall classification in mind. Tonight I’m in sixth place. There’s one stage left tomorrow in this race, but it’s a very difficult one. It’s cool, it’s motivating to do well in this time trial. I’ve still got two more to do this year, the Tour du Poitou-Charentes and the Tour of Luxembourg. This was my return to competition, and even though I’d worked hard on the time trial at home, I’m satisfied. I feel that my form will improve over the coming weeks. That gives me confidence. But before that, there’s the final stage of the Tour of Wallonia. I’ve only got ‘two soldiers’ by my side, but I know they’re motivated so that together we can go for a good overall classification tomorrow”.
