“I’m pretty happy with my race today. There was a lot of movement from the finish on the final circuit and I was able to be in the match with the best on the pedal. My physical condition is quite reassuring after a beginning of the season where I was not always at my best. A result like this gives me confidence before Paris-Nice.”

Kévin Rinaldi, sport director

“We had some crazy weather conditions today. Ewen was instructed to be active on the final circuit entry and had to get a head start. Which he did. It was one of the first times this season that he had the opportunity to grab his card and he succeeded in his mission. Clement was asked to wait and follow the best on the pedal in the last two laps. On the climbs, he was with the strongest. He arrived in a small group of 6 who fought for 2nd place in the sprint. We have no regrets today. Our riders had a great race and avoided mistakes, well supported by a Laurent Pichon in the role of road captain.”
