After ten stages and on the eve of the first rest day, Kévin Vauquelin is in 6th place overall in the Tour de France.

This 10th stage took a lot of energy. There was a high tempo all day long. The breakaway was really strong, well done to them. We rode really well. I gave it my all and have no regrets. We expected it to be as tough as it was today. I fought to the end as I said I would. I'd like to thank the whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team for all their hard work. It's another experience I've gained. Tomorrow's rest day will do me good.

This stage was eagerly awaited, and Kevin Vauquelin was there. This evening he is 6th in the provisional overall classification on the eve of the rest day. I'd like to emphasise the collective commitment of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team and its position in the peloton. Kevin rallies around him, his team-mates are by his side, fighting for him. Kevin broke away on the penultimate climb, but he didn't give up. He doesn't need much more to finish with the yellow jersey group. The rest day on Tuesday will do him good after ten days of racing.
