Rémi Lelandais among the top 5 at the Worlds!

On the Tabor circuit (Czech Republic), Rémi Lelandais took 5th place in the U23 World Championship, at the end of a crazy comeback. Here’s the story.

Rémi Lelandais

“All my hopes were dashed after 300 metres. I was caught up in a collective fall. I had to put my levers back in place, my glasses… I set off again almost in last place. After that, I took a blow to my ankle… After all that, I wasn’t really in the race any more. It’s hard to get back into the swing of things when you know that it’s all over, that it was one of the big objectives of the season. Despite everything, I came back well in this race and that’s frustrating. It’s just that I was physically ready for this World Championship. It was my last U23 race. I’m happy with what I’ve been able to achieve this season and I’m now looking to the future. Next year, I’ll be moving up to the Elite category, knowing that I’ll be well supported by the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. All that will motivate me to bounce back.”
