Paris-Chauny - Arnaud Gérard: "We'll have some great cards for the sprint".

Paris – Chauny, a new playground for sprint teams

Daniel McLay

“Paris-Chauny is a race that is often likely to end in a bunch sprint. This is often the scenario that has been repeated at this race for several seasons now. The sprint teams involved are numerous, and there’s no doubt that they’ll do their utmost to ensure that the tradition of a sprint is respected again this season. I’m feeling good at the moment. I’m in good condition. I saw that at the recent Grand Prix d’Isbergues. If I can play my card, that would be great. Then I could take advantage of this opportunity to try and win a race between now and the end of the season.”

Arnaud Gérard

“Often promised to the sprinters, Paris-Chauny should once again see a similar scenario this season. The number of teams competing for victory via a bunch sprint is indeed numerous. The field of fast riders present on this event is imposing and dense in quality. We, the Arkéa-Samsic team, are also coming with a number of assets to bring to the table, such as Dan McLay, who showed great form last week in Isbergues, and who could be one of our trump cards, just like Nacer Bouhanni, who won this event in 2020”.
