Louis Rouland to race for ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement in 2024
Louis Rouland recently came 4th in the French U23 road championships and is the 9th rider to join our future ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team.
The words of Louis Rouland:
“I’m delighted to be joining the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team in 2024. It’s a great opportunity and I’m very grateful for the trust that the organisation has placed in me. I’m more of a climber, but I love circuit racing. I’m looking forward to continuing to make progress in the best races on the U23 calendar with my future team ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement. As well as that, in September I’ll be starting my 3rd year of a geography degree at Savoie Mont Blanc University. In the discussions I’ve had, I’ve been encouraged to sign up with a team that can support me in my studies alongside my cycling career.”
“Louis is one of the very good climbers in France this year, and even in the world. He still has plenty of room for improvement and our aim will be to take him even higher. He has achieved good results in mountain races such as the Tour of Valle d’Aosta. He could be a very good leader next season in mountainous races on the calendar like the Ronde de l’Isard, the Giro NextGen or even hilly races like Liège-Bastogne-Liège. His recent 4th place in the French Espoirs championships shows that he can be comfortable on this terrain. He has shown consistency by being regular on mountainous courses. It’s up to us to shape this talent to help him win a good race, and why not as early as next season?”
