Louis Barré grabs a top ten for the Italian opening race
Louis Barré finished 7th in the Trofeo Laigueglia, the opening race in Italy, contested on the hills overlooking the Ligurian Sea.

“It wasn’t a matter of much in the final for me to catch up with the frontrunners. Just a few dozen metres. I continued my efforts all the way to the line and took 7th place. We rode well as a team today and it’s pretty positive to leave here with a top 10 finish. At the start of the season, I feel that I’m a bit more consistent than I was in 2023. I’m going to go off to training now to work, improve my form and try to get even better results in my next races.”
“The team worked well to ensure that we arrived in a position with several cards on our shoulder at the start of the circuit. The final and the race conditions proved too difficult for Vincenzo. As for Louis, he didn’t need much to get out of the group of six riders. Nevertheless, the content was satisfactory: the team raced together, and those are the ingredients you need if you want to compete in this kind of event.”
