Yvon Ledanois: "The final time trial in Alès will be the final judge".

Kévin Vauquelin is still 3rd in the provisional general classification of the Étoile de Bessèges ahead of the individual time trial in Alès.

The debrief’

“As we might have guessed from the bonuses awarded at the finishes, sunday Alès-Alès time trial, with its ascent of the Ermitage, will be decisive. Kévin Vauquelin is still twelve seconds behind Mads Pedersen this evening. I don’t want to say that I would have signed up for such a position on the eve of the finish, at the start of this race, because I’ve always had confidence in Kévin, but it’s a good position for him.  I’m confident about sunday, and based on what I’ve seen from Kévin over the last two days of racing, I think he’s in with a chance of winning this Étoile de Bessèges 2024 ».
