Cristian Rodriguez: “We will have the ambition to raise our arms and achieve a good general classification.”
The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team will be in the Sultanate of Oman this week to compete in the Muscat Classic, in which it is the defending champion, then the Tour of Oman.
“I am motivated and confident at the idea of starting my second season with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. I have completed a long preparation period at altitude. I hope to arrive in very good shape in Oman with the objective to regain very good sensations from my first race of the season. With my teammates, our ambition will be to raise our arms and achieve a good general classification.”
“We can have great ambitions for the Muscat Classic with Amaury Capiot if we remember the 2023 edition which was won by Jenthe Biermans. But depending on the scenario this year, and the difficulties proposed, it is possible that some sprinters will not pass . For the Tour of Oman, we know that the general classification will be decided during the two stages with finishes at the top. Like last year, Cristián will be our leader. He will be in his element, and will be able to benefit from the support of Élie Gesbert and Embret Svestad-Bårdseng who also know the Tour of Oman. As for the stages cut out for sprinters, Amaury will be our main card with Florian Dauphin to kick it off.”
