“A nervous stage in the Tour of Guangxi with a breakaway of four riders caught less than ten kilometres from the finish, with a breakaway that took a long time to form. The breakaway took more than six minutes with De Bondt in it, so we put Alan and Alessandro into the race to reduce the gap to three minutes. David Dekker finishes 12th, Louis Barré keeps the white jersey of best young rider, but drops back to fifth place overall, following a bonus second taken by Tim Wellens at kilometre 24
