Paris-Chauny - Dan McLay: "4th, that's where I belong".
Already in the spotlight last week in Isbergues, Dan McLay confirmed his current good form by taking 4th place in the Aisne.

“It was very fast on the final circuit. The team did a great job for me. I finished 4th, but unfortunately I made a bad choice of trajectory by taking the wrong side of the road after the last bend. But I think Jasper Philipsen was the stronger rider. As far as I’m concerned, I’m where I belong. The fitness is there, the form is good and I hope that this will pay off for the Arkéa-Samsic team in the next races that we’ll have to contend with”.
The debrief’
“The plan was to favour our sprinters, and in particular Dan McLay who was our card in this race. Nacer also had the chance to do the sprint, but he was a bit slower today. The team did a superb job, and gave themselves the means to help him as much as possible. Dan finished 4th in a tough sprint, won by Jasper Philipsen. It was a pretty satisfying day.
