Team Arkéa-Samsic will have two cards to play with Cristiàn Rodriguez and Élite Gesbert on the roads of the Vuelta a Castilla y León.
Pre-race
“I’m going to be discovering this event, and I’m happy to be seeing new races in my last season with the pros. There are two days of racing, and they’re very similar with two passes each day that are fairly similar, not with high gradients but which can make the difference. The first day of the race also finishes at the top of a hill. We have two riders in our squad who can challenge for the overall classification: Cristián Rodriguez and Élie Gesbert. We should also bear in mind the fact that we arrive at a slightly higher altitude over the two days of the competition, which can also be a factor”.

“The Vuelta a Castilla y León will be the return race for two of our climbers, Cristián Rodriguez and Élie Gesbert. Both have been training at altitude in preparation for this race. The Iberian event offers a range of routes that will give them a chance to shine, and the aim will be to put in their best performance against strong competition.
