Coming from rowing, the young 23-year-old Austrian began her cycling career during the 2024 season. She quickly found a place within the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team and soon proved her abilities when the road climbs. Finishing 2nd in the Tour des Pyrénées, Valentina demonstrated that she has a promising future in professional cycling. Her first year at this level was punctuated by great promise: 22nd in the Tour de France Femmes with a fine 7th place at the summit of Alpe d'Huez, 2nd in the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées.
