Gaël Le Bellec tells us about the ambitions of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team for the Tour de France Femmes (26 July to 3 August), which starts in Brittany.

The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team's objective for the women's Tour de France will not necessarily be to aim for the overall classification for our riders. We'll take our cues from the start of the race and the stages that could be “traps” for our riders. Our ambition is rather to aim for a stage win. We have three riders who will be discovering the Tour de France for the first time, which is almost half the squad. The Women's Tour de France will give them a wealth of experience. Our sporting philosophy will be to take the men's Tour de France as an example, and to do that the riders will have to take risks. The first stages in Brittany will also be important because we'll be on home soil, so our ambition and objective will be to showcase the red and black colours and the Excalibur jersey.

Maurène Trégouët

She discovered her first Grand Tour this year with the Vuelta, and will compete in the Tour de France Femmes, which will start in her home region of Brittany. Maurène is the revelation of 2025. She will make an important contribution to positioning both the sprinters and the climbers at the foot of the mountain passes.

Clémence Latimier

In just a few weeks, Clémence has become a key member of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. She has a strong team spirit and is very mature despite her age and “youth” in cycling. Her team spirit is her strength. Clémence is capable of making the right decisions during a race. She will be an important team-mate in this Tour de France. Her ability to go on the offensive is also one of her strengths.

Titia Ryo

Like Maurène, she discovered her first Grand Tour on the Vuelta España last spring. And now she's preparing to compete in her first Tour de France, starting in her native Brittany. Titia's qualities are well known, as is her ability to rub up against the pack and position herself well. The Breton stages will give her a chance to shine. She'll also be a great team-mate for the team's female climbers, with the mission of accompanying them as far as possible.

Lotte Claes

The general classification won't necessarily be her objective, but if it is as the stages go by, we'll see. But the aim is for Lotte to target stages that suit her by going to the front, as she did at the start of the season in the classics.

Valentina Cavallar

We have the same model with Valentina as Lotte. Valentina discovered the Tour last year, but this year our mountain leader has had a difficult start to the season due to some health problems. So we'd like to free her from the pressure of the general classification. He'll come if he has to come. The aim is for Valentina to go hunting for victories in the mountains, and she has already targeted one that she has very much in mind.

Emilia Fahlin

Emilia will be able to sprint according to the team's decisions in the sprint finishes scheduled for this Tour de France. Emilia got the team off to a good start last year on the roads of the Tour de France, with a series of good placings. She will now be our road captain, thanks to her extensive experience of the major events on the women's World Tour calendar.

Marjolein van't Geloof

Marjolein will be there for the sprints, following the tactical instructions given on the day for this type of finish. A rider who is always in a good mood, Marjolein is in a way the moral barometer of the team, in addition to the fact that she is an excellent team-mate who knows perfectly well how to position herself in a peloton, and thus protect her leaders.
