Critérium du Dauphiné (Stage 3) : Hugo Hofstetter 4th
Le sprinteur alsacien a pris la 4ème place de la 3ème étape du Critérium du Dauphiné dont l’arrivée était jugée à Le Coteau (Loire). Donavan reste leader au classement de la montagne.

“I knew that today was the only day I could expect a result. On the first climb, the pack climbed very fast, too fast for me. Nevertheless, I was able to regain my place fairly quickly. In the final, Anthony did a great job for me and I’d like to thank him for that. I’m still missing out on sprinting at this level to really perform, but this 4th place is really encouraging for the rest of the season.”
Donavan Grondin retains his best mountain climber jersey at the end of stage 3 of the Critérium du Dauphiné, and still has 7 points in the mountain classification: “After yesterday when I suffered cramps, I was a bit apprehensive about this stage. In the end, I’m happy to have got through without a hitch. I’m living day by day with this jersey and I’m happy to start tomorrow’s time trial with this tunic.”
