Cristián Rodríguez' race program

“Cristián Rodríguez knows how to train and is very professional in his approach to his job. But he mustn’t lose sight of the fact that the collective is the driving force behind a team. In other words, we all work for each other, depending on the race and the circumstances. The other riders will be at his service in some races, but Cristián will also have to work for his team-mates in others. It’s a give and take. Cristián is a rider with great climbing skills. We’re all aware of that. He can shine at a certain level, especially in the ProSeries. We’re expecting him to make further progress in the mountains, but to do that he’ll have to rely on the team, because it’s by helping others that he’ll get their support in return. His 13th place overall in last year’s Vuelta a España demonstrated his climbing skills, his ability to recover from a Grand Tour and his stamina. Cristián is already a driving force in the team and he can become even more so.
