Arnaud Gérard looks back to 2024 Volta ao Algarve
The sports director of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team looks back at the final stage and the week spent in Portugal.

“Florian Sénéchal was in the breakaway today on this final stage of the Volta Ao Algarve. It’s been an intense week, both in terms of pace and commitment, because even if this event doesn’t have the label of a UCI WorldTour race, it’s at the level of a UCI WorldTour race. Martin Tjøtta gave himself the means to finish strongly. Now we’ll be looking ahead to the opening weekend in Belgium, hoping to reap the rewards of the week we’ve spent here in the Algarve with a very high pace every day”.
