3 ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Teams to face the Hell of the North!

ARKEA-B&B HOTELS will be the only French team at the start of the Women’s, Men’s U23 and Men’s Elite races this weekend on the cobbles of the Hell of the North.

Florian Sénéchal

World Team

“My presence in this 2024 edition of Paris-Roubaix already smacks of victory. On 24 February, after breaking my collarbone in the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, I never thought I’d be taking part in this race that is so close to my heart. I certainly had the secret hope of doing so, but to find myself on the start line in Compiègne on Sunday is quite an achievement. From now on, I’ve got nothing to lose, and I tell myself that anything that happens can only be a bonus. I haven’t had the ideal preparation for this race, but I’m going to benefit from being fresh, which can be an advantage at the end of the Flanders Classics campaign. In any case, I’m going to make the most of this chance to compete in my favourite classic, and the aim is to try to take and give as much pleasure as possible to the fans of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team”.

Donavan Grondin

World Team

“I’m going to discover two Monuments in the space of a week: The Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. I’d like to thank the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team for their confidence in me. I’ve already competed in Paris-Roubaix in the youth categories. It’s a classic that I really like. I’m delighted to be discovering it this Sunday among the professionals. I know the final part of the race with the Carrefour de l’Arbre and Mons-en-Pévèle, but the Trouée d’Arenberg will be a big discovery for me.”

Amandine Fouquenet

Equipe Femmes

“I did some reconnaissance with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team for this 2024 edition of Paris-Roubaix. I was able to build up my confidence in terms of trajectories. That’s important for me in a race like this, where you have to be comfortable with the way your bike handles. This will be my third participation in Paris-Roubaix and I’m really looking forward to the start.”

Anaïs Morichon

Equipe Femmes

“Paris-Roubaix is a placement race. The approach to the first sector will be crucial before the other sixteen. I’m very motivated to be at the start of my 3rd Paris-Roubaix with ARKEA-B&B HOTELS”.

Léandre Lozouet

Equipe Développement

“This will be my fourth appearance at Paris-Roubaix. I’ve competed in this race twice as a junior, including a podium finish (3rd) in my second season in this age category. And it will be my second time on Sunday in the Espoirs category. What I like about this competition is that nothing is ever finished. You can have mechanical problems, fail at a certain point, and then ‘bounce back’ as they say. That’s the charm of Paris-Roubaix. When I was racing as a junior, it was a round of the Junior Nations Cup, and the level was very high. The world’s best were there at the start. It’s the same for the U23s on Sunday, except that the distance is longer”.

Sébastien Hinault, sports director

World Team

“Paris-Roubaix concludes the cycle of Flanders classics, where we’ve enjoyed a great dynamic. Our aim is to keep it going until Sunday on the legendary Roubaix velodrome. This classic is a race like no other, which, more than any other, is never written in advance. We’ve got some great cards on the table with riders who appreciate this type of event, such as Luca Mozzato, who recently finished second in the Tour of Flanders, Jenthe Biermans and David Dekker. Florian Sénéchal, who crashed at Het Nieuwsblad and broke his collarbone, did everything he could to be at the start of his favourite race on the calendar. He resumed racing a few weeks ago and hasn’t had the same preparation as the other classics specialists, but he’ll be in good shape for Sunday’s start in Compiègne. The desire will be there and above all Florian has nothing to lose in this classic, quite the contrary”.

Grégoire Le Calvé, sports director

Equipe Femmes

“Paris-Roubaix is a race where placement will be key. The girls will have a total of 17 cobbled sectors to tackle over a distance of 148km. The first part of the course will be important in terms of positioning. It’s a very nervous race where luck also comes into play. The aim will be to maintain our good momentum and put our leaders at the front to aim for a good result. We’ve carried out several reconnaissance runs with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team and the riders are highly motivated by the idea of competing in this race”.

Léonard Cosnier, sports director

Equipe Développement

“Paris-Roubaix Espoirs is a renowned race for U23s, with the race bearing the same name as that of the professionals. This year, the under-23s will race on Sunday, the same day as the pros. This will allow us to have two ARKEA-B&B HOTELS teams competing in this competition, the World Tour and the Development team, on the same day. For this Paris-Roubaix Espoirs 2024, we have a fine ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Développement team on paper with our two crossmen, Rémi Lelandais and Lucas Janssen, as well as riders who enjoy the classics, especially the cobbles, such as Pierre Thierry, Léandre Louzouet and Nicolas Milesi. After Paris-Roubaix, Paris-Roubaix remains… “
