Donavan Grondin has excelled at youth level (French Cadet and Junior Champion), combining road and track racing, and his record of achievements includes the title of World Junior Omnium Champion. Selected for the Tokyo Olympics, he won a fine bronze medal in the Américaine, a performance confirmed by the title of World Scratch Champion won on the Roubaix velodrome. His track record was also enhanced in 2022 by the title of World Champion in the Américaine and European Champion in the Omnium. He distinguished himself on the road in 2023, wearing the jersey of best climber in the Dauphiné for a few days, but his register remains the sprint, with a role to play in Arnaud Démare's train.
