Vincenzo Albanese : "with a lot of determination and confidence"

With a number of cobbled climbs on its programme, the Flèche Brabançonne makes the transition from the Flanders classics to the Ardennes classics.

Vincenzo Albanese

“I’m coming to this edition of the Flèche Brabançonne with a lot of determination and confidence. The feeling is always very good, and I know that the profile of this race matches my qualities. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team has been on a good run for several weeks now. We need to continue in that vein, which is why I’m hoping for a good result on Wednesday in this race, which kicks off the Ardennes classics season.”

Mickaël Leveau, sports director

“The Flèche Brabançonne opens the third and final chapter of the spring classics, the Ardennaises. We will have a fine ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team for this race with Jenthe Biermans, who has had a fine spring, and Vincenzo Albanese, who has had a fine campaign in the Flandriennes. Mathis Le Berre did very well in the Region Pays de la Loire Tour and will also be a key member of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS squad. As in every competition, we’ll be up against some tough opposition, but our ambition will be to maintain the good run of results we’ve been enjoying over the last few weeks”.
