The debrief

“This 6th stage of Tirreno-Adriatico between Apecchio and Carpegna was what you could call “a real Italian race”, with a lot of distance, difficulties that go up and down, with in the end the double ascent of the Carpegna pass that was Pantani’s training. The conditions were more difficult because it was very difficult to get to the finish line. The conditions were also difficult because it was very cold. A real hard race, Warren wasn’t too much after his “rallies” of the last days, he still had the legs to follow the best on the first climb of Carpegna, which is a good sign”.
