The Lyon native finished just off the podium in his final race of the 2025 season, winning the overall individual French Cup classification. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team came second in the team classification for this trophy.

This victory in the overall individual French Cup standings represents me well; it demonstrates my consistency throughout the past season. I race to win, but here I finished fourth and won this trophy. I'm happy to end 2025 this way, and I want to look ahead to 2026. This was my last race of the season with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS jersey, and after bringing the team two French Cyclo-cross Championship titles, I also won the individual overall classification of the 2025 French Professional Cup.

Anthony Delaplace was determined to be in the breakaway at the 2025 Tour de Vendée, the last race of his career as a professional cyclist. It was his trademark when he turned professional, before taking on the role of road captain within the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. He showed that his desire hadn't wavered one bit after sixteen years as a pro, that he was in good shape for his final race, and even still in contention for the win with five kilometers to go. Hats off to him! I'm happy for him. Clément Venturini finished fourth here in Vendée, winning the individual Coupe de France. I would also like to commend the work of the young Swann Gloux, Jean-Loup Fayolle, and Paul Thierry, who have not been spared from injuries but are still here. They have done a superb job. I wish them all the best for the future. We stuck to our game plan, the one we had set for ourselves: to be united and supportive. We followed our plan, and we have nothing to reproach ourselves for tonight.
