Michaela Drummond claims our 1st women's win of the season!
New Zealander Michaela Drummond, who joined the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Women’s team in the off-season, won the 1st edition of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour Femmes on Wednesday.

“I”m so excited! What a win! I’m obviously very happy to win my first race in the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS jersey. I’d like to thank all my team-mates for the work they’ve done on my behalf. A few days ago I was a bit sick, and today I’ve won this first edition of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour for women. It’s just incredible.”
“This Région Pays de la Loire Tour Femmes was a real emotional lift. We were in charge of the race, then a crash forced three of our riders to retire. But Michaela Drummond’s finish put a smile back on our faces. She put in a magnificent sprint. We know what she’s good at and she proved it once again. It’s the first victory of the season for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS Women’s team, and it rounds off a good start to the year which has already seen some fine performances.”
