Kévin Vauquelin perfectly launched the Tour of the Basque Country for the ARKEA – B&B HOTELS team by setting the 6th time in the inaugural time trial.

“I am happy with this sixth place in the opening time trial of this Tour of the Basque Country. There was a very good field at the start and I am very close to the top 5. My result is initially reassuring before approaching a week of racing. It also shows my regularity, since the start of the season, in this very specific exercise. The work done personally and with the ARKEA – B&B HOTELS team pays off. The week is off to a good start. There are a lot of positives to take from this start to get off to a good start for the future.”

The objective of this week in the Tour of the Basque Country remains to achieve a good general classification.
