“New podium! I’m very happy. The whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did a great job all day to reposition me and position me in this race which was very nervous. In the final, Clément Venturini did a great job for me, just like Anthony Delaplace who controlled all the offensives in the last kilometers. I was placed. Third, it’s the best place I could hope for. I feel good but I have not yet completely recovered from my fall on Nokéré Koerse. In the sprint, I lost Clément’s wheel, otherwise I could perhaps have finished in second place. But that’s the way it is, that’s the race.”
