Florian Dauphin 7th in the 1st stage
Florian Dauphin, one of the three Breton riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team at the start of the Tour de Bretagne, took 7th place in the 1st stage, the finish of which was judged in Plougonvelin. Depending on the bonuses taken, this evening he occupies 4th place in the provisional general classification.

“I’m happy with my performance, I was able to be among the strongest on this first stage. The positive point is that I also take a few seconds of bonuses during the stage. That’s always a bonus for the rest of this Tour of Brittany”.
“We had two leaders at the start of this Tour of Brittany. We almost lost one, Pierre Thierry, due to a fall in the last laps of the circuit. He nevertheless managed to return and finish in the peloton, proof that he is in Florian Dauphin was in good form: he managed to take bonus seconds, and he was in the match during the final sprint. I saw a very solid ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team today. . I am happy with the behavior of the riders. About forty kilometers from the finish, we attempted a move which hurt the peloton.
