Cristian Rodriguez 12th
For the last stage of the Tour of Catalonia, on the Montjuic circuit, Cristián Rodriguez followed the best. He is ultimately 12th in the final general classification of the event.

“I am happy with my feelings throughout this week on the Volta Catalunya, and in particular Saturday on the stage with four passes. The ARKEA – B&B HOTELS team supported me perfectly throughout this event, and I would like to thank my teammates for the work done on my behalf. It’s a good continuation for me after Tirreno-Adriatico and a good progression here in terms of general classification obtained. I finished 12th in this Tour of Catalonia which was hard, demanding and which ‘is run at a very fast pace.
“Alessandro Verre and Michel Ries supported Cristián perfectly until the entrance to the Montjuic circuit. Louis Barré was at his side for a long time, once we arrived on the final circuit. The instructions for Cristián were to follow the best of the general classification, in order to preserve his 13th place. He applied it to the letter, and even gained a place, since he is 12th in this very tough Tour of Catalonia which was run very quickly.”
