A new top 10 for Florian Dauphin
At the end of the second stage, the longest of this Tour of Brittany, Florian Dauphin signed a new top 10. He took 9th place in Pontivy.

“It was a mixed day. Lucas Janssen started at the front today. He followed the instructions: we didn’t want to be trapped by a breakaway at the start of the race. The Lidl-Trek defended the leader’s jersey very hard until entering the circuit. In the finale, we had to play the cards of Florian Dauphin and Pierre Thierry. Unfortunately the latter fell, without seriousness, in the middle of the stage. We perhaps missed this weight card in the last laps to dynamise the race. Despite everything, he finished in the peloton and Florian once again entered the top 10. What is positive is that our riders are in good shape and attentive. We must recover well because this Tour of Brittany is far from over.”
