Finishing 11th in the fourth and final stage of the Tour Poitou-Charentes, Nicolas Milesi retains his third place in the overall standings. The 21-year-old Italian is the best young rider in this 2025 edition. Arnaud Démare takes 5th place in this final stage.

I am really happy with how the Tour Poitou-Charentes ended. I was still in good shape on this fourth and final stage, which allowed me to hold on to third place in the overall standings. I want to thank all my teammates who helped me throughout the race and allowed me to stay calm because I was a little nervous. In the final, I tried to give Arnaud a hand. I'm very happy because this is my first podium finish in a professional race. It's a great pleasure. I love working and working hard. It feels good to get results like this. I would like to thank Laurent Pichon and Léonard Cosnier for giving me the opportunity to race here and for their trust.

It was a tough finish, which was quite disjointed. There were a lot of attacks. There was a breakaway in the final, which included Luca Mozzato, among others. We caught up with him late. The finish was punchy. The ARKEA – B&B HOTELS team did a great job. We have nothing to reproach ourselves for. In the end, I finished fifth. I was there, but not enough to get further ahead. Nicolas kept his third place overall. It was a great day for the team.

On this last stage, we had two objectives: to maintain Nicolas Milesi's third place in the overall standings and to get a good result with Arnaud. Nicolas kept his place. Arnaud finished fifth. In three road races this week, he finished in the top five three times. Once again, I would like to highlight the great work done by the team around him. We were there for every dangerous move. We had a great week with Nicolas' podium finish and also what the team showed every day.
