Fifth in Belley, Louis Rouland finished fourth in the final overall classification of the Tour de l'Ain.

"I'm delighted with this 4th place in the overall classification of the Tour de l'Ain, because cycling isn't always an easy sport, and when things go well, it feels good. We've just come back from three weeks of training in La Plagne with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. We worked hard in an excellent atmosphere, and it started to pay off over these three days. The team was very strong, and I was very well supported throughout the day. I would like to thank my teammates and the staff. I came here taking each day as it came. There were two riders ahead of me, and I managed to get through the three days of racing. I was able to be present on all three days of racing, with difficult stages every day. My result is that of the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team. The work paid off, it was done in good spirits but with seriousness. In previous years, I focused on mountain races, and this year, I had some off days, but mentally, it allows me to tell myself that I can be there among the professionals in races of this profile.

If someone had told me before the race that Louis would finish fourth, I would have signed up for it in a heartbeat. What I want to remember is that in 2024, Louis was a rider with the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS continental team, and he has progressed within that structure. He joined the World Tour this season, and now he is fourth in the overall classification of the Tour de l'Ain, ahead of riders who were undoubtedly ahead of him in continental development last year. This demonstrates his impressive progress. I would also like to emphasize the excellent performance of the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team in this race. Fourth in the Tour de l'Ain, with the riders and the field present here, is a very good performance for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.
