Didier Rous and Gaël Le Bellec, Sports Managers of the World Tour and Pro Team Femmes structures respectively, reveal the red and black ambitions of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS teams who will be at the start of the French time trial championships.

We're going into the time trial with ambition and the desire to win it. Kévin was only a few seconds away from the jersey last year. His excellent Tour of Switzerland (2nd overall) highlighted his excellent condition. We know that the competition in France has been very tight over the last few years, and there are quite a few riders who could be candidates for victory. We'll be ambitious with Kévin of course, but also with Thibault Guernalec, 3rd in 2024, and Ewen Costiou. I'm not forgetting Baptiste Gillet either, who clocked a good time last year in his first professional year, and who represents the future of the discipline, as does Pierre Thierry.

Océane Mahé is an up-and-coming time trial specialist. Crowned French U23 champion last year and 6th in the French Elite Championship, we can expect a top 5 finish given the number of riders taking part in this French Championship in Les Herbiers. That would be good progress. Clémence Latimier, for her part, will be competing in her first professional French Championship in the Excalibur ARKEA-B&B HOTELS jersey, having discovered the event last year in the amateur ranks.
