The goal was to win the best climber jersey in this Cro Race, with Swann Gloux. He tried, went on the breakaway, but simply came up against someone stronger than him. That's the way of sport. Swann showed some great things and learned a lot. The second phase was to be well positioned in the final climb for Martin Tjøtta and Victor Guernalec, who were perfectly supported by Laurens Huys, Jean-Loup Fayolle, Baptiste Poulard, and Edoardo Zamperini. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team followed their instructions to the letter. A group of 35 riders battled it out for victory in the sprint, with Laurens Huys, Martin Tjøtta, and Victor Guernalec at the front. This stage was contested at a high average speed, as has been the case every day here in Croatia. Tomorrow is the final stage, with bad weather forecast.
