It's a victory that feels good! It's our best victory in Class 2, it's a team time trial and I'm particularly fond of it. Whether it's for the riders, the staff or the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, winning as a team means everything. It shows our collective strength and, quite simply, today we were the best. The goal here at the Tour Alsace is to win, which is no easy feat given the quality of the teams competing in the event. I took a gamble by putting together a team of three highly technical specialists to get through the corners as quickly as possible. It paid off! They made no mistakes, they were very clean, and the time was perfect. The second team, made up of climbers, also posted a respectable time. It's all good for the rest of the race. Rémi is the leader of the race before the second stage, which is a great reward for him as he is so dedicated to the team. He has been an example throughout the season and now it's his turn to shine, which is only fair. Tonight, I am extremely satisfied for the whole team.
