"I'm obviously disappointed. I had high expectations of myself. I've been through quite a few emotional lifts in the last few hours and this week. My legs felt strange and I didn't have the “edge” today, as I did yesterday, for example. I had some watts. In the end, I finished second overall in the Tour de Suisse, and I have the feeling that I've moved up a gear. That's phenomenal, and you can be satisfied with that. My data was decent, but I didn't have the maximum data as I would have liked. I gave and gave. Maxime Bouet pushed me in the sports management car, and before the race everyone close to me pushed me. Everyone supported me. We may be a small team, but we manage to hold our own against the big teams. The staff and riders of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team give their all every time. Our strength lies in our solidarity. I hope that this will inspire other partners to join us, or the current ones, ARKEA and B&B HOTELS, to continue with us. I was built by the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, I grew up with them. I hope to help Emmanuel Hubert continue the adventure. I'd also like to thank all the staff for their hard work alongside us. Coming back to the race, I felt a lot of pressure around me. I'd like to apologise for not being able to do it, I really wanted to. I feel I've got a lot of room to improve, a lot of work to do, a lot of steps to take. But now it's on to the French Championships next week ».
