Kévin Vauquelin finished 7th in the final overall classification of the Tour de France and the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team finished 4th in the team classification.

The final was crazy. We're on the Tour to race. I raced until the end. The overall classification was frozen, but I wanted to do well. I finished in the top 10. Unfortunately, I was in a bad position when the group of six riders broke away. When you're fighting for the overall classification, you lose a bit of punch in the third week. I paid for those efforts a little today. I'm still very happy to be in the top 10, especially in such hellish conditions. The Montmartre hill was incredible, like at the Olympics. These are crazy memories. I'm starting to realise that I finished 7th in the overall standings. It's incredible. It takes self-sacrifice. You always have to be there. That's how it was for the three weeks of racing, and I was there again today on this last stage. The team never gave up. No one complained. It's been three full weeks, and everything that came before was intense too. I've grown more than just a little; I've reached a new level. I don't think the same way anymore, I approach races differently, but it's still a game. For three weeks, I played on my bike, and I'm very happy about that.

The results of the Tour de France are very positive: Kévin finished 7th in the final overall classification of the Tour de France and we finished 4th in the team classification. Today, we were still in the fight, with Kévin in the final. What stands out for me above all else is the human and collective aspect, which is what matters most to me. I like that people are at the heart of a project and to see a close-knit team. Fourth place in the team classification reflects exactly that. Kévin had strong teammates by his side in the good times and when things got a little more complicated. That's also what enabled him to secure seventh place.
