Up until the decisive sector of Monte Sante Marie, the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did a good job around Kevin Vauquelin. He was able to count on the support of Martin Tjotta and Anthony Delaplace. Kevin was well placed at the start of the gravel road but unfortunately felt limited. He didn't have the resources to keep up with the best. Kevin finished 20th. He had come here with better ambitions and was the first to be disappointed. He'll have to bounce back quickly and start looking ahead to Tirreno-Adriatico on Monday.
