The day after Clément Venturini finished 3rd in the Boucles de l'Aulne, Jenthe Biermans finished fourth in the Tour du Finistère, the second act of the “Semaine Bretonne”. On Saturday, the ARKEA - B&B HOTELS team will be at the start of the Grand Prix du Morbihan, and on Sunday of the Tro Bro Leon.

It was a good race overall. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team rode well today. First we had Paul Thierry up front, then Baptiste Gillet. Everyone was always well placed and we had a great race together. In the finale, Amaury Capiot, Élie Gesbert and Thibault Guernalec placed me very well. By the last kilometer, I was 4th. I did 1'30 at full speed. All that's missing is the podium. I'm still very happy because I feel we did our utmost. Fourth place was the best we could have done.

It's a fine fourth place. We always hope for better, especially at home, but the whole ARKEA - B&B HOTELS team was there. Paul Thierry was in today's breakaway. For a young rider coming out of his junior years, it's important to spend a day at the front. Having him at the front also meant we didn't have to carry the weight of the race. The scenario was rather to our advantage, with a sprint-oriented finish with Jenthe Biermans. Baptiste Gillet, Élie Gesbert, Thibault Guernalec all put Jenthe in the best possible position. There's not much missing. Third yesterday, fourth today, we're in the game and confident for the next two races.
