Fifth place is a good result. Mentally, yesterday was difficult for me because the stage was complicated. I am really happy with the work done by my teammates at ARKEA-B&B HOTELS. The team managers kept their faith in me today, and I think my sprint today was a way of thanking everyone. Léandre and Pierre put me in a great position in the final stretch of the stage, arriving in Voiron. I lost my place between the penultimate and final bends. That's my regret of the day, because I could probably have done better at the finish. But this 5th place is a first reward for us, and I would like to thank my teammates once again for their work on my behalf.

The goal for the day was the sprint, even though we had to be cautious with two big Alpine passes at the start of the stage, Montgenèvre and Lautaret. We worked well in the final part of Tuesday's stage, which finished in France, in Voiron. Léandre Lozouet and Pierre Thierry did a good job preparing the way for Jenthe, who finished 5th. This is our first top 5 finish in this Vuelta, and we are continuing the momentum that has been with us since the start.
