Already 5th in Voiron, Jenthe Biermans improved his performance by one place in the bunch sprint finish of the 19th stage of the Vuelta in Guijuelo.

This 19th stage of the Vuelta was all about the sprint. The wind could have played a decisive role after kilometer 100, but that was still a long way from the finish. We were focused on Jenthe Biermans with a slight uphill sprint in Guijuelo, which suited him better than a completely flat finish. We had analyzed the final stretch, and our young riders such as Léandre Lozouet, Victor Guernalec, and Pierre Thierry did an excellent job for Jenthe, who was very well positioned behind Mads Pedersen. Jenthe took a fine fourth place, improving on his performance in Voiron and securing our fourth top-five finish in this 2025 Vuelta.

Thanks to the whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, this stage was important for us. Before the race, we had set our sights on Voiron and this stage, and for me, the sporting results are now a 5th and 4th place. We delivered on the stages where we were expected to do so. I was well positioned, and in the last kilometer I was dropped off in Pedersen's wheel. It was a tense day, but my teammates always sheltered and protected me perfectly. Fourth place is great. It's a good result that rewards both my teammates for their work and the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team staff, who are tirelessly committed to supporting us.
