Two second places and one third place: that's Ewen Costiou's impressive haul since the start of the Tour du Limousin. His second place finish on Thursday earned him bonus points and strengthened his lead in the overall standings.

It was another very gruelling stage, as it has been since the start of this Tour du Limousin. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did a great job of controlling the race in my favour throughout the early stages. I turned quite far back at the foot of the last climb. I was between 15th and 20th position. But I managed to move up. I was a bit stuck when Paul Lapeira went on the offensive, and I didn't immediately find an opening. And when I did find one, I ended up almost on his wheel. He was very strong. I was obviously thinking about victory, but I knew that Paul and Alexandre Delettre would be very strong in the final. But that's the way it is, that's sport. Paul was strong, he won, even if I have a few regrets about the stage victory. I'm keeping the yellow leader's jersey and even gaining a few more seconds in the bonus points. That's a good thing ahead of Friday's final stage in Limoges. The goal is to keep this jersey tomorrow evening at Beaublanc. I know I can count on a strong ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team around me.

Very well, Ewen 2nd fought hard to secure this podium place. He finished ahead of Delettre, who had gained bonus points during the stage, and increased his lead over Sylvain Moniquet. There is still a difficult stage to contest tomorrow, and the race is still wide open. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team managed this stage well, particularly Luca Mozzato and Simon Guglielmi, who controlled the gap with the breakaway. In the final, Ewen was positioned behind Mathis, Luca and Anthony. I would also like to highlight the clear-headedness of Clement Venturini, who opened the door for Ewen so that he could contest the sprint for victory. We know that the Limousin is always decided by a handful of seconds, and we have another big day ahead of us tomorrow, but we will fight. Martin Tjøtta also remains seventh in the general classification, which once again demonstrates the strength of our team.
