At the summit of Thyon 2000, Cristián Rodríguez finished 6th in the queen stage of the Tour of Romnadie on Saturday. He is now 10th in the overall classification on the evening of this 4th stage and on the eve of the final finish.

It was an excellent day for the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team and Cristián Rodríguez on this queen stage of the Tour de Romandie, which finished in Thyon 2000. He finished in 6th place, and at one point we even thought that Cristián could have finished on the podium, that 4th place was a possibility. In any case, he made an excellent ascent. He didn't finish far from victory in terms of time, on a 21 kilometre climb at 7.5%. Every day, except Friday, we had an ARKEA-B&B HOTELS rider in the top 9 of the stages of the Tour de Romandie. Once again, I'd like to highlight the work done by the whole team, Cristián was perfectly supported by his team-mates. 6th today is a great reward. Cristián is 10th in the provisional overall classification of the Tour de Romandie, ahead of the final stage on Sunday. He will have to fight hard to hold on to this position, or even try to make up some places in the overall classification.
