Cristiàn Rodriguez put in a fine performance in the overall classification of the Tour de Romandie, and Raúl Garcia Pierna and Thibault Guernalec finished 6th and 7th respectively in the final time trial of the same event.

I'm just seven seconds short of a Top 10 overall in this Tour de Romandie. I'm a bit disappointed about that, but I'm taking my good feelings from the week in Switzerland as a whole. The ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did a good job for me throughout the race, and on the difficult stages I was always in contact with the very best, especially on Saturday's queen stage in Thyon 2000.

6th and 7th in the final time trial of the Tour de Romandie was a reflection of what the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did in Switzerland during the week: we were present on every stage. We scored top 7 finishes almost every day, as Raúl Garcia Pierna and Thibault Guernalec did in the technical time trial in Geneva. It just goes to show that our riders are performing well and are on a good run. Cristián finished 11th overall, which wasn't a disappointment because we knew we'd finish between 9th and 12th overall. The small problem was losing the top 10 by seven seconds. But what I want to remember about Cristián Rodriguez's week is his 6th place at the top of Thyon 2000 on Saturday. I'd like to pay tribute to the work of the whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, riders and staff, because that's how it's always done: in a good atmosphere, and with seriousness, we manage to achieve great things.
