Today was complicated because I was on my own to control the race and I wasn't feeling very well given that yesterday I had food poisoning, but I still managed to be in the good breakaway that formed after 100km. I got the bonus that put me in the same time as the winner but we were caught with 10km to go. I'm second in places.

It was a weekend of contrasts. With Lucas Janssen retiring at the false start on stage 3, Baptiste was the only survivor. In a way, he was the “Koh Lanta” of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS continental development team on Sunday. The main thing today is that all the riders who were ill on Saturday are feeling better this Sunday. Baptiste put in a single attack to try and overturn the overall classification, as I'd asked him to do. He took the bonus. He was even virtual leader of the race, but unfortunately it came down to the finish. He paid for his mistake on the first day, and was beaten in the overall standings. Nevertheless, I want to keep his spirit and that of the team. He held his own and showed everyone that cycling is made up of ups and downs, but above all of resilience.
