The World Tour Copenhagen Sprint, which made its debut on the World Tour calendar this year, saw Arnaud Démare take 4th place.

My legs are coming back at the right time. I already felt it last week when I was good, and really good now, and I've had confirmation of that again. I was able to position myself wherever I wanted. The sprint itself, I'm 4th. But I feel I can do better. So there's always a bit of disappointment when you've got legs like I've got at the moment. In any case, I feel that I've arrived in good shape at the right time. I hope it will pay off for me in the coming days.

Arnaud Démare had a great sprint. I'm very pleased with the way he behaved throughout the race. He was always well placed on the circuit, as was Luca Mozzato. They both rode a very good race and that's encouraging for the future. The other riders in the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team supported Arnaud throughout the day. He came 4th with a fine field of sprinters taking part in this event. He put in a good sprint, which pleases us, and him too, and which is good in view of the races to come ».
