Maëva Squiban finishes 6th at Trofeo Palma
Maëva Squiban took 6th place in the Trofeo Palma, round 2 of the Challenge Mallorca for women. She finished as the best young rider in the event.

“Maëva Squiban took 6th place in the Trofeo Palma, the 2nd round of the Challenge Mallorca for women.a “I had a good feeling about the race and when the difficult sections started to come together we were well placed, which meant that there were still three riders from the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team in the main pack. The riders who were in contention for the win made the most of the very technical descents, and no-one slackened off behind them. We were even able to catch up with some of the competitors who were in front, which enabled me to take sixth place in this second round of the Challenge Mallorca Féminine, which took place in Palma de Majorca. She finished as the best young rider in the event.”
“We’re on our second day of racing and working on our racing automatisms and running as a team was the objective in coming to this event. I’m really pleased with the involvement of the riders, both in terms of positioning before a sprint or a climb. We’re getting good results here and that’s really encouraging for the rest of the season.”
